2005-2006	RWP Bela, year of Sanction,PB item No.220 of NE Rly. by Government of India.
March-2006	Land Acquisition for Main Plant completed.
07.07.2008	Contract Awarded to M/s Larsen & Toubro (L&T).
29.07.2008	Foundation Stone laid by Sri Lalu Parsad Yadav,Hon´ble Minister for Railways.
08.08.2008	Plant Construction started.
01.07.2011	Charging of Main Reciving Station and 8 sub-station with 132KV.
12.01.2012	Environment clearance obtained.
July-2012	First Performance Guarantee Tests (P.G.T.) of the Plant (Round the clock working).
10.10.2012	First heat of good chemistry.
26.03.2013	Factory License obtained.
07.02.2013	First lot of BOX-N wheel dispatched.
01.05.2013	1500th wheel dispatched by member mechanical.

01.08.2014	Rail Wheel Plant/Bela was declared as Production unit.
02.09.2016	Casting of BGC wheels started.
21.10.2016	First lot ofBGC wheel dispatchedtoHarnaut workshop.

Dec-2016	ISO 9001:2008 Certificate issued. ISO 14001:2004 Certificate issued. OHSAS 18001:2007 Certificate issued.
June-2017	ISO:50001 certificate issued.
Nov-2017	2760 BG coaching wheels were cast from 92 heats & all wheels(100%) were good chemistry .
27.09.2019	Inauguration of e-office at RWP
Dec-2019	262 nos of heat tapped in a month and Highest 8037 nos of wheels cast in a month
FY 2019-20	Total 1400 heats tapped , 41067 wheels casted and 26150 wheels dispatched .
FY 2020-21	Total 1395 heats tapped , despite of covid-19, 38547 wheels casted.
FY 2022-23	Total 1882 heats tapped , 49083 wheels casted and 24518 Wheels dispatched .

03.07.2023	Production of BLC wheels at RWP/Bela started.
25.07.2023	First lot of BLC wheels dispatched to GOC.

14.11.2023	Production of EMU wheels at RWP/Bela started.
11.12.2023	First lot of EMU wheels dispatched to HLR
23.12.2023	200000th Wheel dispatched to SWR/UBL
